Channel 4

On May 6th, Channel 4 launched a 360° video experience for its soap opera "Hollyoaks", making it the first soap to offer its fans an immersive experience. The '#Hollyoaks360 - Interactive Crime Scene' is available on YouTube and Facebook and allows fans to get a sneak peek into the future of the series as they join detective DS Thorpe visiting a crime scene from the Gloved Hand Killer storyline. The video kicks off a new '#Hollyoaks360' series, which will provide fans with behind the scenes access to the show.

In the immersive video, DS Thorpe, who searches for the Gloved Hand Killer, arrives at a crime scene where there has been another murder. Fans can have a look around the living room and piece the clues together to find out who the victim might be.

The video, which generated more than 23,000 views within a week, started many discussions among the "Hollyoaks" viewers regarding the victim of the crime. At the scene in the video, DS Thorpe and the fans are presented with items that belong to different members of the Roscoe family, making everyone of them a possible victim.
