Vine gets the nod at iHeart Radio Much Music Video Awards

The 2016 iHeart Radio Much Music Video Awards takes place on June 19 and for the first time ever, a major TV award show will feature a ‘Fan Fave Vine Musician’ award. Much, which is owned by Bell Media, is a Canadian music television channel, and Amber Rose, Fifth Harmony, Hailee Steinfeld, Lilly Singh aka Superwoman, and Tegan and Sara have all been confirmed to appear at the awards.

Vine, the Twitter-owned six-second video platform has spawned plenty of creatives, comedians, and actors, and it has also led to the discovery of up and coming musicians.

Two of the Viners nominated are Canadian, as is one of the Wildcard choices.

Voting for the Fan Fave awards, which, in addition to the ‘Fan Fave Vine Musician’ includes Fan Fave Artist or Group, Fan Fave Video, Fan Fave International Artist or Group is now open.
