Camden Town Brewery will soon have a new North London brewery to shout about just four months after it was acquired by mega brewer AB InBev.

The expansion will see Camden Town Brewery open up production in Enfield and create a new bar and events space to try out its beers.

“The exciting events of last year have given us a great opportunity to transform Camden Town Brewery from an outstanding London brewery to a world famous one," said founder Jasper Cuppaidge. "With the support of AB InBev and this new addition to our family, Enfield will not only keep all our brewing close to home in North London, but also enable us to make more great beers."

AB InBev bought the craft beer producer in December last year in a deal worth £85m. It sparked a furore in the craft beer world and let to BrewDog delisting the beer in protest against the growing influence of the big brewers on the sector.
