Customized apparel and accessories company CustomInk has launched a campaign that features an animated octopus named Steve the Spokestopus.

In three spots, viewers are introduced to Steve, a stop-motion octopus that “lives in the CustomInk lobby aquarium” and “also happens to be CustomInk’s biggest fan.”

In each short video, Steve boasts about CustomInk's customer service, deals and online design lab while chatting with “an inanimate fish tank aerator” named Doug the Diver.

Created by LA-based shop Supermoon, the campaign has been voted by US Creative Works readers as ‘US Creative Work of the Week.’

According to Supermoon, this campaign is one of the first projects to come out of the agency since it re-branded from Tiny Rebellion to Supermoon last year.

Tiny Rebellion was re-launched as Supermoon in 2015 by president Amir Haque along with a handful of former Deutsch directors including David DeRoma, Jill Burgeson and Nicole Rowett. DeRoma is executive creative director at Supermoon while Burgeson is director of strategy and Rowett is director of client service.
