McDonald’s serves up chips with chips as it installs Samsung Galaxy tablets in UK restaurants
McDonald’s is offering diners a taste of the future alongside their Big Mac’s with the roll out of Samsung galaxy tablets across its UK estate.
‘Experience of the Future’ will offer patrons access to the internet, games and social media whilst they dine although the one thing you won’t be able to do is order any food or pay the bill, for that you’ll have to stand in line along with everyone else.
McDonald’s has been seeking to spice up its stodgy fare with a number of hi-tech initiatives in recent years; including a Swedish initiative to convert Happy Meal boxes into a makeshift virtual reality headset.
The fast food chain has also embraced Apple Pay mobile payments and introduced Samsung wireless charging pads in select European restaurants.
