‘Never gonna give EU up’ - Prankster rickrolls #VoteLeave website
The UK may be on the verge of giving up on its membership of the European Union but one prankster has created a fake Vote Leave website that rickrolls viewers.
Pitching into the Brexit debate, UK expat Mario Van Poppel has caused an upset to the Vote Leave campaign’s online branding with the website.
The campaign failed to snap up all web addresses similar to its www.voteleavetakecontrol.org.
As a result, the Spectator reports that voteleave.net, voteleave.org, voteleave.com and voteleave.co.uk all direct link clickers to the dulcet melodies of Rick Astley.

In the run up to the referendum in June, there have been a number of digital initiiatives between the clashing ideologies.
From the anti-Brexit’s #HugABrit campaign to the news that some Brexit supporters have defaced and returned the government’s pro-EU leaflets.
