CHI&Partners has been reenlisted as the creative agency representing the Sunday Times’ annual Rich List campaign.

The scheme, which puts front and centre the UK’s wealthiest individuals, will be led with the ‘Fortunes Told’ campaign, styled after early 19th Century Tarot Cards.

The creative will tell how the nation’s highest earners made their millions. The full print and digital campaign will then be unveiled from this Sunday (17 April).

Micky Tudor, deputy executive creative director at CHI&Partners, said: “The annual Sunday Times Rich List campaign is one of the UK’s most consistently celebrated creative campaigns. We couldn’t be more proud to be working on it again, nor could we be more proud of the work. We’ve taken a whole new creative approach to the Rich List, with a witty take on the definition of ‘fortune’ and a new focus on story-telling.”

Catherine Newman, marketing director and sales director at The Times and The Sunday Times, said: “The Sunday Times Rich List is one of the most hotly anticipated magazines of the year, so it’s important that the advertising creative helps build buzz and intrigue in the run-up to publication. With CHI&Partners we have created an engaging and inventive campaign that will really help generate excitement among the public as they wait to find out about how the fortunes of Britain’s richest people have fared in 2016.”

The feature was first launched in 1989.
