Google is now removing links identifying the super injunction couple in the UK

Google is reportedly removing links to sites that identify the super injunction celebrities.

The media is restricted from referring to those the UK injunction was filed by, despite being named in print by a Scottish newspaper. However, the couple cannot be mentioned online or in print in England and Wales.

Now Google has wiped pages identifying the couple – a quick Google search of each name reveals that results have been omitted.

According to the Daily Mail, an online privacy group representing the pair at the centre of the story filed over 150 takedown notices to the search giant.

The floodgates may open soon on the court order, however, as the Sun on Sunday is appealing to overturn the injunction on Friday.
