Following a successful collaboration in 2015, small-ship cruise company Voyages to Antiquity (VTA) has retained Digital Visitor as its social media agency.

VTA offers cruises of the Mediterranean, France and the UK.

Combining boutique-style cruising and cultural travel, VTA offers cruises of the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, Northern France and the British Isles. The new social campaign aims to acquire qualified customer contact data to drive new bookings in the short term and create loyal customers in the long term.

Jos Dewing, managing director of Voyages to Antiquity, said: “I’m delighted to once again be working with Digital Visitor following on from an excellent campaign in 2015. Their forward-thinking approach to social media targeting has already delivered us an impressive number of high quality leads, a trend I’m sure will continue into 2016.”

Anthony Rawlins, managing director of Digital Visitor, said of the appointment: “Our ongoing work with VTA demonstrates how successful our approach to data acquisition through social media is, especially for the cruise industry. Audience targeting through social media, more than ever, presents a compelling opportunity for quality lead generation. And I’m pleased to be working with VTA to further highlight the fact that social networks can drive significant and immediate commercial returns.”

Digital Visitor specialises in cost-effective lead generation through social media, working with clients including Barbour, AccorHotels, HarperCollins and Rickshaw Travel.
