Former Starcom MediaVest Group UK chief executive, Stewart Easterbook has helped launch a new content agency, Content Inc.

Easterbook will serve as founding non-executive director and strategic advisor on the board of the consultancy, which has been set up as a partner agency to creative shop Agency Inc.

Based in London's Somerset House, Agency Inc counts Bupa, Companies House, Cisco and LG among its client roster.

The company has also named Easterbrook’s former SMG colleague Ian James, currently European managing director for Acxiom Europe, as a second strategic adviser to the startup. Mat Morrison, Easterbrook’s former head of social media at SMG and global head of digital planning at Porter Novelli, will lead the content planning and assessment function.

Agency Inc's chief executive Matthew Morgan, who will also take the reigns at Content Inc, said: "Content Inc has been established to help our clients assess and then improve their overall content strategies, plugging a gap in the market that simply needed filling.

"It’s a very exciting opportunity to work alongside Stewart and Ian, and the brilliant audit and strategy team that we’ve pulled together.”

Stewart Easterbrook exited SMG in 2014 following a five-year stint as UK chief executive and, most recently, executive director performance and digital development for Europe. He is currently chairman of Media iQ, board member at Instrumental, and strategic adviser at Wooshii.
