Twitter appoints LastMinute.com founder Martha Lane Fox and PepsiCo CFO Hugh Johnston
Martha Lane Fox has been appointed to Twitter’s board with the company set to draw from her experience as the founder of LastMinute.com.
Lane Fox sold the company in 2005 for £577m make her a prominent face in the early days of e-commerce.
Hugh Johnston, a vice chairman and chief finance officer of Pepsico now also serves on the board of the social network.
Martha Lane-Fox tweeted the news on Friday.
