Manchester City FC names Astra Otoparts as regional partner

Manchester City FC has teamed up with Indonesia’s largest automotive component group, naming Astra Otoparts as an official regional partner for the club.

This distinction will allow the group to associate itself with the Manchester City brand via merchandise together with joint promotional activities on digital and television advertising as well as competitions.

Yusak Kristian, director of Astra Otoparts said: “Football is a favourite sport for many people in Indonesia, regardless of age or demographic. Therefore, having a partnership with Manchester City Football Club will allow us to get closer to our potential consumers and to strengthen our commitment to globally introducing our brands, ASPIRA and GS Astra.”

Omar Berrada, group commercial director for City Football Marketing, which brokers Manchester City’s commercial partnerships, added: “Over the course of this partnership we look forward to working with Astra Otoparts using our global football presence as a platform on which fans and consumers can get closer both to the Club and to Astra Otoparts’ products and services.”
