Scottish Design Awards finalists revealed - did you make the shortlist?
The finalists for this year’s Scottish Design Awards have been revealed ahead of the awards ceremony where Scotland's finest design and architectural agencies will gather to find out who will take the top accolades.
Freight Design, Tangent Graphic and Whitespace are just a few of the names featured on this year’s shortlist. Check out the full list of nominees here, and view a selection of their work below.
This year's nominees were chosen by an expert panel including Sophie Lutman, creative director, BrandPie, Martin Muir, creative director, Start Judge Gill, Heinz Richardson, board director, Jestico + Whiles and Penny Lewis, lecturer in History and Theory, Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and the Built Environment.
The winners will be announced at the annual Scottish Design Awards bash at Glasgow’s Radisson hotel, on Wednesday 25 May. You can purchase tickets here.
Chairman Adrian Whatman, creative director of design at RAPP said of the entries: "They came, they saw and they conquered. As expected the entries for this year’s Scottish Design Awards turned out a great selection of work for the judges to debate.
"The standard was very high this year which for the judging panel made it harder but also more enjoyable to judge, the diversity and quality really shone through.”
