ABC News is continuing to invest in unique digital content, this time for their OTT platforms. Yesterday, the Disney-owned news giant launched "Garage Geniuses," a digital series that "profiles a group of peculiar entrepreneurs running fascinating businesses out of their basements and garages."

Instead of just uploading to their YouTube or releasing on their website they've made the entire series instantly available, Netflix-style, on their Apple TV, Roku and Xbox One OTT Apps.

The series looks at unique startups (from a basement restaurant that's booked through 2025 to a millennial basketball manager) and feels like a fun and alternative spin off of Shark Tank (also on ABC). Here's the trailer and a link to watch the first episode.
