Flight Centre has appointed Pablo, the independent creative agency, as its UK agency, briefed with re-launching the brand.

Tasked with identifying a unique positioning for the travel agency’s UK business, Pablo is looking to transition the brand from booking agent to travel curator.

Flight Centre’s Sue Johnson, head of retail marketing, said: “Recognising the opportunity to offer a welcome alternative to consumers who are jaded by undertaking independent online holiday research, we’ve been working hard to add value to the Flight Centre brand by reassuring customers that with us, they’re in safe hands.

“We’re confident that Pablo, with their proven credentials in the travel sector, will bring this new positioning to life over the most effective touch points.”

Pablo founding partner, Gareth Mercer, added: “Thanks to having previously worked with Travelodge and Premier Inn, Pablo’s team is highly experienced when it comes to travel. So this appointment is right up our street.

“We’re confident that this strong brand campaign will reinvigorate that sense of trust that should always come with booking a holiday.”
