Mekanism has opened an office in Chicago just months after it established a branch in Seattle.

The agency, which also has offices in New York and San Francisco, is opening a Chicago location to support its Jim Beam U.S. account and its MillerCoors brands, which include Redd’s, Smith and Forge, Henry’s Hard Soda, Coors Peak, and Crispin Cider.

Mekanism won the MillerCoors brands last summer and has been Kentucky-based Jim Beam’s digital agency of record for nearly two years.

Located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, the agency’s new office will start off with a staff of 25.

According to Mekanism, the expansion “reflects the agency’s foresight that Chicago is and will continue to be a key advertising and marketing center.”

Earlier this year, Mekanism announced that it would be opening an office in Seattle following its Alaska Airlines win.

The agency handles Alaska Airlines, Nordstrom Rack and Amazon.com out of its Seattle office. Mekanism’s other clients include Charles Schwab, Ben & Jerry’s, and Aquafina.
