B&Q has placed creativity at the heart of its new campaign winning over The Drum readers to be crowned Creative Work of the Week.

Created by WCRS, the campaign centres around the idea ‘Let’s Create’ and puts emphasis on home improvement projects by reminding viewers that B&Q isn’t just a warehouse of shelves stacked high with DIY products.

Launched to coincide with the Easter break, the mockumentary-style campaign showcases how B&Q has helped unlock creativity in its customers, these customers just happen to be animals. The first ad in the series sees black and white zebra, Fred, create his first colourful home after outgrowing the black and white world of his parents.
