Adele is the latest celebrity to fall foul of a privacy breach, with her personal family reportedly finding their way on to a Facebook fan group.

Images of the star as a child, snaps from during her pregnancy, an ultrasound scan, and photos of her son are thought to be among those leaked.

It's thought the photos were obtained via her partner, Simon Konecki’s, personal email account. A fan is said to have alerted the singer's management to the leak, telling the Sun on Sunday: "I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures. They are really private and should not be passed around."

The typically private A-lister has a reputation for for shying away from the spotlight, and only recently returned to the fore last year to promote her most recent album, '25'.

Last year, several stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, were victims of a high-profile iCloud leak. Just last week, a Pennsylvania man has owned up to hacking more than 100 Apple and Google accounts as part of the phishing scheme, and was arrested following an FBI investigation.

A few days ago images belonging to One Directioner Harry Styles' Mother, Annie Cox, were stolen and posted online after her phone was targeted.
