Kanye West asks Steve Ballmer if he can redesign the new LA Clippers mascot
Kanye West has offered to redesign the mascot of the Los Angeles Clippers, a US basketball team represented by Chuck the Condor.
The musician directly tweeted former Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer, who owns the team, with the offer as a just the latest episode in his habit of seeking collaborations, and the financial backing, of tech billionaires like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
West offered to redesign the mascot, which only launched just last month, he tweeted.
Steve Ballmer can I please redesign the Clippers mascot

Ballmer didn’t take offense to the criticism of the mascot, instead offering lunch to talk it over.
@kanyewest @LAClippers love Chuck but love your creativity. Lets talk. Lunch? — Steve Ballmer (@Steven_Ballmer) March 13, 2016
And then tickets to a Clippers game.
@kanyewest Better than lunch. Let's grab a Clips game together and talk — Steve Ballmer (@Steven_Ballmer) March 13, 2016
Chuck the Condor however took exception to the criticism.
I miss the old Kanye. https://t.co/staijL8Jpf — Chuck The Condor (@ChuckTheCondor) March 13, 2016
