Marine and sportswear brand Gill has unveiled “a new look and feel” for the brand, created by Chapter.

Gill's new look branding was created by Midlands-based agency Chapter.

The new look will run in specialist press and online as well as across a suite of materials, including retail catalogues, buyer’s guides and general marketing support for all future product ranges.

John Deverill, managing director at Gill, said of the brand refresh: “This is an exciting new direction but at the same time Chapter’s work perfectly captures what is at the heart of the business and embodies our ethos. It puts Gill products on the frontline of sailing, highlighting their capability, performance and resilience to the elements.”

Ian Boulter, creative director at Chapter, said: “Gill’s commitment to creating hugely capable, high-performance sportswear is inherent in their business We were keen to capture this in a dramatic visual style together with a bold, confident tone that not only inspired Gill’s audience, also educated them on the subtle design features that enable wearers to remain comfortable whatever the conditions.”

Based in the Midlands, Chapter's clients include Nissan, Halfords and Yardley.
