Telescope brings on Michael Galbe to expand TV reach in New York

Telescope has been one of television's strongest digital partners for the past several years, including a major partnership with Facebook. The company, led by chief executive Jason George is based out in LA but has recently been growing its presence in New York.

Today, Telescope has announced that TV expert Michael Galbe will be joining its New York office to oversee the growth of the company and its relationships with the TV world.

Chief executive Jason George told Found Remote the following about Galbe:

“In today’s quickly-changing media landscape of social media, television, and digital verticals, it’s important to know what solutions our potential partners will need – before they know they need them."

"The addition of Michael’s wide-range of experience will further broaden our relationships with both traditional and new media companies alike — unlocking new mechanics that content creators and owners can use to bring their viewers closer to their favorite content."

Galbe's previous experience includes director of media and entertainment for Wayin, a social intelligence and visualization company, vice-president of business development and strategic partnerships at Trendrr, which was acquired by Twitter in 2013, vice-president of music at MTV Networks and senior director of international marketing at Jive / RCA Records. Galbe will become Telescope's senior sales director in New York.
