The sponsorship agreement, which kicks off tomorrow (3 March) and runs until the end of August, will see a blend of 15-second and 5-second Callaway idents appearing throughout Sky’s golf broadcast coverage as well as a strong presence on the golf sections of Sky Sports online and the Sky Sports News app.

The campaign will also feature Callaway professionals such as Phil Mickelson, Danny Willett and Henrik Stenson (pictured), who will promote the brand’s XR 16 Drivers and Chrome Soft Golf Balls.

David Shore, head of sponsorship at Sky Media, said: “Callaway’s innovative approach to its sponsorship over the past two years has allowed the brand to cleverly engage with the Sky Sports golf audience."

Nick McInally, marketing director of Callaway EMEA, said: “We have an incredible product line up for 2016 and the continued partnership with Sky Sports allows us to showcase it in a very unique way, using real golfers alongside their golfing heroes."

McInally added: “A significant part of our business success over the past two years has been influenced by this innovative campaign and we are once again thrilled to be giving consumers the opportunity of becoming a star of #TeamCallaway.”
