The Drum has partnered with IBM Interactive Experience to create a series of films during Mobile World Congress exploring how mobile is fundamentally changing the way businesses operate and how consumers engage with them.

On the third day of the show, we talked to Nestlé, Scandinavian Airlines and Alior Bank to discuss how companies are redefining their digital experiences to put mobile at their heart.

The common thread across all companies is the shift to structuring their business around mobile, creating effective, innovative mobile experiences to satisfy today’s increasing mobile-first customer.

At Alior Bank, apps and tablets are becoming essential to transforming its customer service.

Scandinavian Airlines sees mobile as he key to diffentiating itself through incredibly personalised services.

At Nestlé meanwhile, digital chief Pete Blackshaw said that mobile is transforming the business thanks to its ability to provide both service and utility.

Discussing how they are redefining digital experiences through mobile are Shamayun Miah, partner & vice president, IBM; Nestlé vice president of digital and social media, Pete Blackshaw; Tomasz Motyl, chief innovation officer, Alior Bank; and Ashi Hoseini, manager of mobile solutions, flight operations, Scandinavian Airlines.
