Twitter raids Apple for new PR head Natalie Kerris
Twitter has tapped Apple’s comms team for a new head of PR, hiring Natalie Kerris for the role.
The news comes several months after former PR chief Gabriel Stricker left the company, and a slew of other high profile departures. Chief executive Dorsey looks set to make his mark on the company with the new hire.
With the role being previously operated temporarily by general counsel Vijaya Gadde, the company has been on the receiving end of a number of backlashes around supposed changes to the site.
Several times in the past few months #RIPTwitter has trended - ironically on the social network – over some of the site’s incoming changes, at the time Dorsey blamed the outrage on a miscommunication.
Jack Dorsey welcomed the new hire on the social media platform.
Welcoming @nataliekerris to @Twitter as our VP of Global Communications!
