Renault is celebrating 25 years of Renault in the UK with a quirky new ad called ‘Be Moved, Not Driven’ launching today (15 February).

Created by Publicis London, the campaign is the first created in the UK for the auto brand since 2009, looking to cement the Clio’s place as a “style icon”.

The campaign will run across TV, Cinema, OOH and press with media buying and social activation handled by Manning Gottlieb OMD and Experiential activity managed by Fusion.

Dave Sullivan, creative director at Publicis London said: “The Renault Clio is an iconic car with a history of iconic advertising from Nicole and Papa to Thierry Henry. She’s 25 this year so we’ve revisited the spirit of Va Va Voom to celebrate.”

The agency was briefed with “re-igniting the love for Clio in the UK”.
