LA's 2024 Olympic bid appoints 72andSunny's Matt Rohmer as marketing director

Los Angeles 2024, the city's Olympic bid has appointed 72andSunny brand director Matt Rohmer as marketing director.

Rohmer will collaborate with his former creative agency 72andSunny and Bruce Mau Design, who are responsible for designing the brand’s creative content and aesthetic identity. The official logo and some design elements will be revealed tomorrow (16 February).

"Matt Rohmer is a rising star in LA's creative community and we're very pleased to welcome him to our team," said LA 2024 CEO Gene Sykes. "With Matt's creative insight, we're hopeful that LA 2024’s brand image and story will inspire not only our city but the worldwide Olympic Movement."

LA 2024's logo will be unveiled on the eve of its first deliverable submission to the International Olympic Committee.
