Google taps Brad Bender to oversee DoubleClick products

Google estimates that 60% of all programmatic media buys will use 'programmatic guaranteed' by 2019

Google has restructured its advertiser product management team by enlisting Google product manager Brad Bender to oversee its buy-side products.

With eight years if experience in his current role, Bender currently oversees Google Display Network.

He will now add oversight of DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM) and the ad server DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) to his list of responsibilities, according to Ad Exchanger.

By bringing the ad products under the one roof, Google is hoping to streamline its internal processes with the move.

Earlier this month DoubleClick added app install tools to its ads in order to bolster mobile campaigns promoted through its services.
