Maxus Worldwide has launched new division, Maxus Technology Consulting, putting worldwide chief information officer David Kaganovsky at the helm to help clients enhance their marketing capabilities through tech.

Alongside the WPP-owned agency's worldwide director of technology, Gary Revenson, and Damian Blackden, global chief strategy officer, he will be tasked with using a methodological approach and the firm's media insight to improve businesses' marketing technology framework.

The consultancy will be embedded within Maxus’ wider operational structure, working with teams to develop and deploy individually relevant technology strategies.

Commenting on the opening, Kaganovsky said: "The launch of Maxus Technology Consultancy is a codification of this service and will offer chief marketing officers a defined and defensible business case for any marketing technology investment. And as part of WPP and Group M, Maxus is well placed to deliver this advice.”

The global media shop bolstered its senior management team last year, with Kaganovsky joining in his current position from Group M.
