Airbnb is encouraging viewers of its new ad campaign to stay in “unique and magical” listings having inked a partnership with Disney’s ‘Jungle Book’ and Bear Grylls from ‘Man vs. Wild’.

The pop-culture focused drive called ‘Love This? Live There’ urges adventure across the likes of tree houses and private islands, channeling the sense of are around the capers of Grylls and Mogli.

The brand’s first promotional campaign sees two 30 second spots devoted to each IP, informing viewers they can experience such lifestyles through the service.

TBWA/Chiat/Day, which holds Airbnb’s global advertising account, will feature across the US, UK, France and more with media buys in digital and cinema, bolstered by social media buys.

Jonathan Mildenhall, Airbnb chief marketing officer, said: “The diversity of homes on the Airbnb platform is unrivaled.

“In this campaign, we put the spotlight on some of the more unusual accommodations like treehouses, islands, ski chalets and beachside homes that travelers really love.”

“Our partnership with Disney captivates the deep connection between both brands… marking the perfect beginning of an exciting partnership.”

As part of the deal, Airbnb will offer limited-time discounts on signature listings.

Perhaps its for the best the creative decided to ignore the recently listed Netflix and Chill lounge.
