AnalogFolk has promoted its managing director Matt Law to the newly created global role of chief operating officer, replacing him with head of delivery Ete Davis.

Law will work closely with the agency’s chief executive and founder Bill Brock to ensure its offices in London, New York, Portland, Sydney and Hong Kong are tightly aligned as it looks to further expand into other markets. The agency has its sights set on Asia this year after opening its first office there last June.

Law has headed up the agency’s day-to-day running since the agency launched in 2011, capping off his tenure with a string of high-profile account wins including Absolut and Lucozade.

His replacement Davis joined the agency from AKQA last year. Prior to AKQA he has had stints at TribalDDB, FullSix and Modern Media (now DigitasLBi).

Brock commented: "During Matt’s tenure as managing director, the London office has more than quadrupled in size, and even during this growth we’ve maintained our unique and much-admired culture. I’m delighted that this experience will now be deployed on an international level to align with our global ambitions.

"In the six months he’s been at AnalogFolk, Ete has demonstrated incredible leadership skills and unparalleled expertise in service design. He’s a strong cultural fit and the perfect successor, so I’m thrilled he’ll be driving the agency forward in the UK."
