New launch at Sage offers campaign integration and opportunity

A campaign that will embrace the strength and diversity of three global ad agencies, a digital marketing cloud platform, while recruiting over 100 additional individuals to enhance its marketing team, is launching this week at Sage Group plc.

The global 'One Sage' marketing campaign kicked off this week and its goal is to "provide a consistent, exceptional experience to its millions of customers and prospects by operating as 'One Sage' rather than a multiple, regionally-based approach," said Santiago Sonalas, Sage's chief marketing officer.

Sage Group plc is the market leader for integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems, and this rollout of five global marketing campaigns across nine markets internationally is indicative of the seismic shift in technology and digital demands. The campaign's goal is to provide insightful content and targeted marketing campaigns for small and medium businesses, as Sage supports and encourages their efforts to meet the challenges of the evolving digital marketplace.

"These campaigns will be 'always-on'," noted Sonalas. "They are a great example of how we are working as one integrated marketing team to support the small and medium sized businesses across the world who face the challenges of the digital age."

The global agencies working with Sage Group plc include Neo@Ogilvy for media planning, WeAreSocial for social content and Freedman International for production and transcreation. The end goal is for new customers to adopt Sage solutions across accounting, payroll, payments, business management and for accountants worldwide.

The campaign comes after Sage opened its Customer Business Centres (CBCs) in 2015. The CBCs are designed to attract and support customers around the world, under the One Sage global operating model. CBCs house all teams involved in marketing, lead qualification, sales, service and renewals in one place for global products. The new campaigns also mean new opportunities.

The campaign is being delivered upon a new digital marketing cloud platform Sage implemented in 2015, including media targeting (Neo, Google, Doubleclick), prospect targeting (Dunn & Bradstreet), personalization, nurturing, lead scoring and routing (Oracle), web and mobile experience delivery (SiteCore), lead management (Salesforce), social marketing and selling (Salesforce, SocialBakers, LinkedIn and Artesian).
