Adidas looks to boost its running and women's divisions with Hope&Glory appointment
Adidas has appointed Hope&Glory to help boost its UK running and women’s fitness divisions.
Adidas appoint Hope&Glory
The London-based PR agency will have a dedicated team assigned to the Adidas running range which will look after the Boost brand and help establish the technology across its range of performance running shoes.
With the sports giant’s women division Hope&Glory will initially focuses on evolving the brand’s #workit exercise campaign into the January fitness season and promoting its S/S16 ranges.
The teams will work with the Adidas press office to produce social content with a particular focus on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Hope&Glory’s managing partner, James Gordon-MacIntosh, described Adidas as a “dream account for any agency” and said the company was “over the moon to be working with them.”
He added: “The newsroom model adidas has adopted, with the integration of editorial, social content and influencer engagement, is the most advanced we’ve worked alongside and there are some big plans to grow in the categories we’re going to be working with them on. New client briefs don’t really get better, as far as we’re concerned.”
The accounts will be led by James Gordon-MacIntosh and associate director Pieter Graham. They will report to editor for style & womens, Laura Coveney, alongside PR managers Sebastian Bell and Paul Brady.
