AKQA’s international talent director Andy Wardlaw is joining The Talent Business’s London office as managing partner as the global executive search firm aims to improve its ability to provide clients with the best ‘creative tech’ leaders.

He will also play a key role in opening The Talent Business’s Los Angeles office. The company currently has offices in London, New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Dubai and Berlin.

Wardlaw previously worked at The Talent Business from 2006-2008 as head of digital talent, according to his LinkedIn profile. He then served as a founder of Congregation Partners from 2008-2014 before taking on his role at AKQA.

Of his new role, Wardlaw said: "The Talent Business is the only global executive search firm that specialises in marketing, advertising and communications, and more creative leaders are hired through them worldwide, than by any other company in this space. I am excited to join them to champion the global drive in LA and beyond.”

He starts his new position at the end of January and will work alongside The Talent Business’s global chairman and CEO Gary Stolkin along with its global management team.
