Specsavers has teamed up with John Cleese for its latest ‘Should’ve gone to Specsavers’ ad.

Developed in-house by the Specsavers Creative team, who worked with Cleese to develop the script, the spot sees the comedian reprise his iconic Basil Fawlty role.

Referencing an old scene from Fawlty Towers the ad sees Fawlty let down by his poor eyesight after getting into a fight with his car’s voice control.
