A playful Xmas quiz created by Graeme Hall, the founder of design agency ifour, has become an online hit, attracting nearly 32,000 people and reaching over 100 countries.

The site, which only has a one-page Java image, features 65 different images that users have to magnify to identify popular films. Once they submit their answers, whoever has the most identified goes into a draw to win cinema tickets and other prizes.

Of the entrants, 1968 people have reached the ultimate score of 100%, and people from countries such as Columbia, Vietnam, Qatar, Ghana and Panama have stumbled upon the quiz from the Tunbridge Wells-based agency.

Using Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, the quiz was referenced by Liverpool FC, Bolton FC, Arsenal FC, Money Saving Expert and the Irish Examiner. Its popularity seems to be unisex, with the gender split being 55 per cent male and 45 per cent female. Expectedly, the busiest time for the site to be accessed was the week before Christmas, where over 9000 people visited, but over 3000 visited on New Year’s Day.

The Xmas project also proved that mobile is king, with over half the users accessing the site through their mobile.

The competition is still open until 31st January, so to try your luck, try here
