Advertising agency BBDO Worldwide, a division of Omnicom Group, has snapped up a majority stake in creative agency Wednesday Agency Group, which focuses on fashion and luxury lifestyle brands.
The acquisition gives BBDO Worldwide greater access to the luxury, fashion and lifestyle sector and the agency will capitalise on Wednesday's ability to deliver fully integrated campaigns, content strategy, digital design and branding, and production for some of the world’s best recognised brands in these categories, including Calvin Klein and Mr Porter.

Wednesday co-founders Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson will continue their leadership of the creative agency together with CEO Glenn Jones and president Ian Schatzberg.

Wednesday will operate as a stand alone agency brand within the BBDO Worldwide Group.
