Gill, the global marine and sportswear brand, has appointed Chapter as its lead strategic and creative agency.

Chapter director Ricky Neault

The appointment will see Chapter create a new suite of communications, including press and online advertising, a series of new retail catalogues and buyer’s guides, plus general marketing support for all future product ranges.

John Deverill, managing director at Gill, said: “Chapter demonstrated a deep understanding of the Gill brand, presenting a creative strategy that perfectly embodies our ethos. We have already built a unique and collaborative relationship with the team and look forward to developing the Gill brand with them going forward.”

Ricky Neault, director at Chapter, said: “Gill is a British brand we have always admired. Their commitment to product design and innovation is staggering and we were blown away by the level of technical know-how combined with a true integrity that goes into everything they do. We leapt at the chance to work with Gill and want to match their passion in everything we create - producing marketing that lives up to the huge capability of the products.”

Midlands-based Chapter was recently purchased by the Mission Marketing Group in a £5m deal.
