The Sun is marking the arrival of one of the most anticipated films in recent memory with over 20 different Star Wars front covers, each putting a tabloid news spin on key events in the sci-fi story so far.

As Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiers around the UK this week The Sun has piggy backed off the immense popularity and hype with 25 different Star wars front covers giving a spoof news report on significant storylines in the six films released to date.

The move is likely to boost print sales of the paper given the anticipation for the latest instalment in George Lucas’ iconic story is almost unparalleled in the film industry. This is also evident in the advertising world where a number of brands and sponsors have joined the force of its mammoth marketing potential.
