Time Inc. is expanding its push into digital video with the additions of Hulu, Yahoo and Zealot Networks to its growing distribution network.

The move will bring Time Inc.’s video content from its numerous brands – which include People, Sports Illustrated and Southern Living - onto Hulu’s, Yahoo’s and Zealot’s platforms.

The media company’s distribution network was created two years ago in partnership with AOL, Cinesport and a few others. Earlier this year, Time Inc. announced at its 2015 NewFront presentation that Amazon/Amazon Video Shorts, CBS Local Digital Media, Gannett/USA Today, Vessel’s Video Service and Nextstar Broadcasting would be added to the list.

J.R. McCabe, SVP, Time Inc. Video, said: “We believe powerful storytelling should be accessible to consumers everywhere. This has informed our approach to creating a digital video network built on the foundation of our owned and operated sites. Today’s announcement underscores our plan to expand that network through creative collaborations with partners that believe in premium content.”

According to Time Inc., it is experiencing “across-the-board gains in viewership, reach and engagement” and surpassed more than one billion video streams across the network in 2015.

Its videos include ‘Building Hope,’ a five-part series out of Southern Living that honors military veterans and ‘A Year in Space,’ a documentary series from Time that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at NASA astronaut Scott Kelly’s life.
