This story is part of a sponsored series that The Drum's future of TV blog, Found Remote, is producing with Vimeo to highlight creative work from brands.

Last week the day before the major COP21 Sustainable Innovation Forum in Paris began, Connect4Climate, The World Bank’s campaign for climate change took to Vimeo to inspire filmmakers around the world to share a "climate action, solution, or conversation.”

The “Film a Day4Climate Action” group that was started already has 24 videos from around the world that include marches, interviews and campaigns trying to bring awareness to climate change

In Paris, COP21 took place just a couple of weeks after the devastating terror attacks. The attacks caused a major march to be cancelled so instead activists displayed 10,000 shoes, including those of the Pope, that were displayed at Place de la Republique.

In the above video, Slater Jewell-Kemker who is working on documentary An Inconvenient Truth captured AVAAZ.org’s actions and the way the city came together pull off the organizing of the 10,000 shoes that were then donated to charity. Using Coldplay’s ‘Fix You,’ the flimmaker captured not only a healing Paris, but a city that cares deeply about the future of our planet.

Stay tuned as we feature another creative video from a brand in next week's column. Vimeo’s mission is to empower creators to make, share and sell amazing videos directly to viewers worldwide, in the highest quality possible and with no interruptive advertising. Vimeo is home to the world’s leading video creators and the hundreds of millions of viewers who love them.
