AOL names Eric Filler global chief operating officer of media sales

Eric Filler is joining AOL as chief operating officer of media sales.

In this role, he will lead display and video advertising sales. Previously, he served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of production company Rabbit Content.

Before joining Rabbit Content in 2009, he served as senior director of finance for North American sales and operations at Google.

AOL said Filler’s appointment comes as the company directs the future of advertising through mobile-led and video-supported content.

He will report to global head of media sales Jim Norton.
