Cadbury owner Mondelez is reportedly set to sell off a number of confectionary brands including Terry's Chocolate Orange and Terry's All Gold.

The business is working with investment firm Lazard to explore the sale, according to Sky news.

Previously part of Kraft Foods, Terry's moved to the ownership of Mondelez when its former parent split into two separately traded public companies in 2012.

The majority of brands that will be sold off are mostly in France, but also includes assets in Spain and the Netherlands.

Terry's Chocolate Orange launched in 1931 with Terry's All Gold following five years later.

The Drum was waiting for a response from Mondelez at the time of writing.
