Discovery Communications, whose channels include TLC and Animal Planet, has rolled out its first TV Everywhere streaming service that will give viewers access to live and on-demand shows on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Called ‘Discovery Go,’ the service will allow authenticated cable subscribers to watch shows from the following nine US networks: Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science Channel, Velocity, Destination America, American Heroes Channel and Discovery Life.

Paul Guyardo, chief commercial officer at Discovery Communications, said: “The launch of Discovery Go represents an important first step in providing viewers with access to our award-winning content anytime, anywhere on practically any device.”

Those who use the new feature can browse by network, genre or playlists.

Discovery Go is available online and through iOS and Android apps.
