Intermarketing Agency appoints Simon Long as creative director of new London office

Intermarketing Agency has appointed Simon Long as its creative director for its recently launched London office.

Long, an award-winning creative director, strategist and mentor has led creative, development and design teams for over 15 years, working with leading brands including Jack Daniel’s, Chanel, NatWest and Chivas Regal.

Discussing his new appointment, Long said: “My focus is to help grow an agency model that instinctively adapts to an ever-changing culture. The moment I met the guys in Leeds, it was clear that Intermarketing Agency was the place to continue that work. The key for the London office will be to preserve and nurture the culture at Intermarketing Agency. Building an ethos and environment where the best ideas are born and thrive is essential in our aim to establish the agency as a creative force in the London market.”

The agency’s London office opened in September following continued growth with London-based clients including RSA, Bupa Global, NSPCC and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Chris Weston, ex-HeyHuman and Brave, also joins as creative director based at the agency’s Leeds HQ, and will be part of the creative management team along with Simon and four others.

The agency also established new offices in Amsterdam and Sydney earlier this year.
