Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss and Stephen Curry among most wanted celebrity ambassadors for brands

A-list advocacy has been high on the agenda for brands this year, and new insight has revealed that the most sought after celebrity face of 2015 is Kendall Jenner.

Kendall Jenner tops celeb endorsement list

The ‘Very Important Endorser’ list, curated by engagement tool Celebrity Intelligence, shows that the model and reality TV star has fronted 14 promotions for marketers over the past 12 months – including campaigns for Calvin Klein and Estée Lauder.

Jenner knocked 2014 winner Beyoncé off of the list completely, with fellow models Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid taking second and third place respectively.

The research noted the most in-demand celebrities in both the UK and US, based on the most searched and viewed this year by 2,500 industry professionals.

1. Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner is the most wanted A-list ambassador for brands. With endorsements ranging from the Calvin Klein's #MyCalvins campaign to Marc Jacobs' fall campaign. 2015 also seen the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star partner with Topshop, to launch her own clothing line alongside sister, Kylie. Additionally she inked a deal with Glu Mobile to launch a mobile game and encouraged young people to register to vote in a video for Rock the Vote.

2. Karlie Kloss

L'Oreal Paris ambassador Karlie Kloss came a close second having signed up to endorse 12 brands this year. As well as fronting Marc Fisher's #MakeYourMarc drive, she was the face of Frame Denim's summer campaign and teamed up with NY coding boot camp Flatiron School to encourage young women to #KodewithKarlie.

3. Gigi Hadid

Victoria's Secret 'Angel' Gigi Hadid scooped third place with a total of nine endorsements. Topshop and Australian brand Seafolly were among the brands to put her at the helm of their promotions in 2015.

4. Cara Delevingne

Deals with TAG Heuer, Mango and Mulberry earned Delevigne fourth place. On top of the nine brands she endorsed in 2015, the model also took on a role in summer movie Paper Towns.

5. Irina Shayk

Completing the top five is model Irina Shayk. She was snapped up by L'Oréal just a few months ago and has been enlisted by Replay to launch its Athleisure range of sportswear.

6. Joan Smalls ​

Joan Smalls was named the sixth most desirable celebrity for brands. This year she was revealed as United Colours of Bennetton's ambassador and took to the catwalk at Victoria's Secret's coveted fashion show.

7. Odell Beckham Jr.

NY Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was announced as the new face of Head & Shoulders in August, he also fronted campaigns for energy drink roar and five other brands - earning him seventh place.

8. Crista Cober

Tiffany & Co. model Crista Cober has been the face of several brand campaigns in 2015 including promos for Graff Diamonds and Balmain.

9. Binky Felstead

Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead is the highest British reality star featured on the list. She has signed mostly beauty and fashion endorsements with deals with St. Ives, Jigsaw, Easilocks and In The Style.

10. Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship and point guard Stephen Curry was named NBA MVP. This success on the court was mirrored by a total of seven endorsements for 2015. He inked long-term deals with Under Armour and Muscle Milk, starred in an iPhone 6s ad and even featured on a limited-edition box of Wheaties.
