The Drum Marketing Awards have launched with top marketers from Visa, BT Business, Three, Heinz and Monsoon lined up as judges.

The Drum Marketing Awards, now in its 10th year, celebrate the best marketers and campaigns in the UK.

The awards are open to advertising agencies, in-house marketing teams, design consultancies, digital agencies, PR companies, integrated agencies and any company that has carried out marketing over the eligibility period.

Work can be entered across a number of categories, including advertising strategy of the year, best use of data, global brand strategy of the year and marketing agency of the year.

Judge Nick Jones, head of digital communications and corporate responsibility at Visa, revealed he was most interested in the social media campaigns that would be submitted.

“With nearly a decade of social media under their belts, I am expecting to see marketers submit some excellent integrations of the best social media gives with tried and tested marketing approaches,” Jones said.

Fellow judge Jennie Farmer, brand director at jeweller De Beers, added that she was hoping to see “truly integrated campaigns using digital in an innovative way to tell the brand story and connect with consumers.”

Joining Farmer and Jones on the judging panel are; Claire Sadler, marketing director at BT Business, Thomas Malleschitz, director of marketing at Three, and Eilidh MacAskill, marketing director at Moonson, among others.

Deadline for entries is 5 February 2016 with nominations to be announced on 23 March. The Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 3 May at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.
