Ad of the Week: Very - The Journey
The Drum's Creative Department readers have extended their Christmas cheers to Very.co.uk, crowning the retailer's 'The Journey' spot as ad of the week.
Mixing live action and CGI animation, the £5m film centres around the brand's famous little pink boxes.
Thousands of the boxes are showing making the journey from Lapland to their recipients' homes, reminiscent of Santa’s journey from the North Pole, and upon reaching their destination are found to match their new owners perfectly.
The campaign ends on the strapline ‘a very special something for every special someone’.
