BIMA names new Possible Seattle MD Gareth Jones as its first US special advisor

The British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) has named Gareth Jones, managing director at Possible Seattle, as its first US special advisor.

Jones, who earlier this month left his role at DigitasLBi as global chief brand and content officer, will represent BIMA in North America. He will be responsible for sharing US insights, experiences, and best practices with BIMA’s executive committee.

He has been a member of BIMA’s executive committee since 2011 and is moving into this newly-created role as part of his move from the UK to the US.

Bridget Beale, managing director of BIMA, said: “Gareth has been an invaluable member of the BIMA executive committee for the last four years. We’re thrilled to have someone with his unique experience represent BIMA in North America and share knowledge of one of the world’s most advanced digital marketplaces with our UK membership of brands, agencies and media owners.”

Later this month, Jones will officially take on his role at Possible.
