Build-your-own website platform Squarespace has tapped Anomaly as its lead agency ahead of the brand’s third Super Bowl appearance.

The agency will be tasked with handling business strategy, brand campaigns and creative moving forward. It will also handle media strategy but not buying.

According to Anomaly, Squarespace came to the agency looking for help to not only grow its business but to also cement the brand’s position as an intuitive, design-focused website platform.

Anthony Casalena, founder andchief executive of Squarespace, said: “We're thrilled to work with Anomaly on our upcoming 2016 campaigns. With more people than ever looking to create their unique online brand, we're hoping to capture even more attention by launching a fully integrated campaign across all channels, with the highlight being Super Bowl 50. We're excited to grow our passionate base of users while sharing our brand values with the world."

Squarespace worked with Wieden + Kennedy New York on its 2015 Super Bowl commercial, which starred Jeff Bridges. The company met with a number of different agencies before deciding on Anomaly as its lead agency.

Anomaly’s first work for the brand will break at the end of this year.
