Iris has announced the latest addition to its senior team in London, appointing Matthew Kershaw as its managing director.

Kershaw will be responsible for creating a "centre of excellence" for the agency's content proposition, bringing together the in house capability of editorial strategists, 'maker' talents and developing deeper media strategy expertise. Matthew will be tasked with continuing the growth of iris’s content offering, both in the London headquarters and globally.

On his new position Kershaw said “Iris is an agency (and one of few) that can boast a wide range of disciplines under one roof that actually work well together. The right ingredients are already there – expertise, talent, capability, global clients like Adidas and Samsung. My role, will be to act as a catalyst to bring together those ingredients to create some brilliant culture shaping work for brands.”

Previously content director at BBH for eight years, Kershaw has worked with global brands including Barclays, Johnnie Walker, Audi and LG Mobile. Prior to that, Kershaw held the position of head of digital media at MTV Networks.
